Abstract

The aim of the current study is to determine the role of social media (Facebook) in creating political awareness
and show the level of influence on the development of political culture. Moreover، the study also identifies
the most important motives for its use in society. However، the importance of this article is that social media
(Facebook) is the main variable in the manifestation of influence and the development of political culture in
society. On the other hand، the importance of this study is that it explains the relationship between social media.
This research is a theoretical study in which the descriptive analysis method is utilized to:
1. Know the role of social media (Facebook) in creating political awareness in society.
2. Identify the most important motives for using social media (Facebook) in political and cultural exchanges.
3. Show the effects of social media (Facebook) on the development of political culture in society.
