Abstract

  The history of artistic imagination goes back to two centuries in the world, and a century ago in Kurdistan. Although the narrative has an older history, it is the history of the new artistic fiction when it is a narrative. This genre of literature has other sub-genres such as the long story, the short story, the short short story, and the short stories, etc. In Kurdish literature, the short story and short short story, like all world literature, appeared at two different times. Each of these arts with literary influence appeared national folklore and foreign translated literature, but each of these literary sub-genres of narrative has its own artistic structure and artistic basis, and it is a different identity for each of them. The first Kurdish short story belongs to Fouad Tamu’s work which was published in (Rozhi Kurd) magazine in 1913. The first short short story is (Hawar Hahbeh Ghazi l Dowayh) written by Qadri Jan which was published in (Hawar) magazine in 1932 which has an important historical impact with regard to short short story.
