The research consists of four chapters; chapter one includes - methodological framework- comprises research
problem which focused on body and its excretions in performances, the research question is: What is the body
problem in theatrical performance discourses -Al-Abaya play as a model? Research goal was: Revealing body
function in theatrical performance discourses, limits: temporal (2010), spatial (Erbil), objectivity, philosophical
employment of body in plays, and chapter 2 dealt with two topics:
1. Body and Philosophy
2. Body and Theatrical Performance
3. Al-Abaya play was analyzed in chapter 3. Chapter 4 - Outcomes- discussed, extracted some conclusions,
most important were:
4. Body, in orderly and improvisational manner, is participant in montage, collage cases and situations.
5. Through body and its formation stories will be narrated visually.
6. Research appended with recommendations, sources and appendix, summaries in Arabic and English.
