This paper, entitled (Laborers in Modern and Contemporary Kurdish Poetry), is an attempt to focus on laborers class in a scientific way. Throughout history, this class of people have been using their physical power to earn a living for themselves and their families. Laborers’ tiredness and hard work have become the material and subject of many artistic and delicate Kurdish poems. In their poems, poets have passed their message to the laborers in particular, and the entire community in general.
This paper consists of an introduction, two main sections, conclusions and the references. Section one is a theoretical part that discusses the reflection of laborers in the history of humanity and the Kurdish community, as well as the impact of the ideology of socialism on laborers’ life. Section two is an applied part in which several samples of Kurdish poems on laborers have been analyzed.
